As well as having many TV, film, radio, writing (including The Now Show) and corporate event credits Matt has played clubs all over the UK and the world (including gigs in Czech Republic, Norway, Romania, Slovenia and Singapore).

He has performed four successful solo shows at the Pleasance in Edinburgh: Too Much Information (2011); Bleeding Funny (2010); Truth & Pleasure (2009); Grow Up Green (2008)

In 2011 his show was nominated for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival.

He is a resident MC for The 99 Club in London, and compères and performs sets for many clubs across the UK, including: Highlight, Banana Cabaret, The Comedy Cafe, Jesters, Komedia, The Stand, Comedy Company, The Comedy Box, XS Malarkey, The Frog and Bucket, Off the Kerb, Avalon, Christian Knowles, ED Comedy and many more.

Matt Green was born and brought up in Yorkshire, although lost the accent for career reasons. He now lives in London, also for career reasons.

He has worked extensively as a comedian, actor and writer for more than a decade, performing on screen, on radio and in venues up and down the UK and across the world. He has also recently started working as a director for comedy and music videos.

He finds writing in the third person unsettling.
